September Bellabox!

Hello Everyone! Today I am going to be sharing with you about my sept Bellabox.

In September,  the box was in a light pink shade. Their theme?

1. La Clinica Gly C Refine Micro Dermabrasion Facial Exfoliating Scrub

What a lengthy name this has! No more going for facials just for the Micro Dermabrasion! This scrub is your superb skincare remedy for a smoother and softer skin. Scrub your grub away to make way for a radiant complexion!

My thoughts: the beads in the scrub are really tiny and a lot! As I started scrubbing, I felt that it was a bit pain. Like a sharp tingling one. But after washing my face, I could feel that my skin was really smooth. But I couldn't help but wonder if it is spoiling the skin? 

2. Recoliv Beauty Collagen

Want good skin? You might wanna try collagen. This is an all- natural product; an unique blend of German Collagen, French olive,  and red grape extract. It is packed conveniently. Enhanced with potent antioxidants that will improve your skin's elasticity and reduce wrinkles. 

My thoughts: it has a bitter taste! Not something I want to get again!  And the colour is not so appealing.

3. Sugar and Butter lip polish  

Blended with shea butter and coconut oil, up the gorgeousness of your lips with this. Exfoliate and wipe away to reveal a set of yummy looking lips!

My thoughts: a good product to use weekly! Do apply lip balm after exfoliating!

4. Wish Formula JJOYY Bubble Peeling Pad

Created with an easy to hold handle, this patent obtained peeling pad contains natural AHA and extracts that helps to elimintae dead skin cells and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles to reveal a much healthier and luminous radiance.

My thoughts: I really like this one! Thanks to the handle,  its very convenient to hold and just rub away. You will see that your skin is smoother instantly! You don't have to put any soap. Its already mixed in the sponge!

5. Inido Cosmeceutical Renew cream

Allow your skin to be born again with this skin renewal formula. Suitable for all skin! This anti aging cream is designed to soften, gently exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin. 

My thoughts: this cream is to be used at night. I experienced a slight tingling sensation. This is apparently normal due to the presence of fruit acids. I have since passed the cream to my mom.

I have been using these products for a month now and I cant wait to share with you how much i love them!!

This is the facial wash. I love this wash! It is light pink in colour. I love how it smells! Just squeeze out a small dollop on your palm. Start massaging all over your face. This cleanser is quite foamy(I like!). I once tried using this to remove my makeup. I was shocked how my eyeliner, mascara and foundation all came off so easy! Now you might worry, does that mean it may too strong and may cause dryness? Not to worry! My face still felt smooth and soft!

The next step is to use the Essence Lotion. Pour some on a cotton pad or use your fingers to rub it all over your face. This lotion will give your face all the hydration it needs.

  

The third step would be to moisturise! This is a day cream. What I like about this is that it contains SPF.  I would not use this at night as it contains SPF. Now you can be assured that your face is being protected all day long! 

The last step that you may not want to skip! Use this once a week for a radiance! What I really like about this mask is that it is really moist!

Who should use these : People looking for a skincare range to soothe the skin and that is also affordable.

Body shop tea tree oil range

I received a text from Body Shop in July about their new products. I like their foaming cleanser. So I decided to go check these out.

 

Offers for members! 

I got this box instead. It comes with their new cool&creamy wash, squeaky clean scrub and tea tree oil.

1. Cool&Creamy wash

This wash is meant to be used in the morning. It is quite cooling on the face. What I like about this is that it doesn't leave a tight feeling on the face. What I didn't like about this is that it is not foamy. I like my soaps to be foamy! 

2. Squeaky clean scrub

I got a shock when I was told that it can be used daily. As we know, scrubs should be used 2 - 3  times a week to get rid of the dead skin. I asked the lady 'won't scrubbing daily cause the skin to get damaged?' She said that the bits are quite mild thus making it suitable for daily use. This is to be used at night. One of the best scrubs i have used!

Use a moisturizer after the scrub to help skin replenish moisture! 

3. Tea tree oil

This product is sold once every 10 seconds! This is meant to applied to the scars. 

This oil is quite good. I used it at night. The next day, I felt that the redness had faded! If you have acne on your skin, this is your to-go-to! 

Overall, i felt that the products were not bad.. i liked the scrub and tea tree oil best.

July Bellabox

July bellabox! I am sure you can guess what the theme is about!

The goodies!!

 This is the Organix Shampoo and conditioner. The one i got was the moroccan argan oil range. it is meant to strengthen, restore shine and softness! This range is not bad. it has a nice smell. However i felt that it is not so suitable for my hair.

 this is the balm's cosmetics mary-lou manizer highlighter/shadow/ shimmer. so pretty!! its so pigmented! i tried using it as s shadow and highlighter. i think it works best as an highlighter! too prettyy!!!

 this is the sage + francis eau de parfum. this is a concoction of florals and fruits. I am more into floral scents and tend to avoid fruity scents. but this one is not bad. :)

clark's botanical deep moisture mask! totally love this product. it left my skin feeling hydrated and nourished. i was confident enough to leave my house with zero makeup on!

June Bellabox

Hello Everyone!! Finally having some time to do June Bellabox review!

So here is a picture of the box! Wanderlust theme! June was all about vacations! Except that I didn't have the time to go for one! But I'm going to make up for it! Hehe!

So lets get down to the products!
As usual, the box comes with a card that provides us with necessary information!

This is a guide for getting around in Bali.. Even Bellabox knows its one of my favorite places eh!

This is the VMV Hypoallergenics ID Monolaurin Gel. Use this mattifier on facial skin for acne and shine control. This can also be applied to areas prone to sweat or acne like chest, back and arms to treat and prevent blemishes from forming. Allow can be used as hand and feet anti-fungal, disinfectant sanitizer.

I like how this is not a greasy/oily kind of gel. When I applied it on my face, it felt really cooling! It helped in controlling the shine on my face! Especially in this heat!!

This is the VMV Hypoallergenics Re-Everything Face Hand Body Lotion!
Phew! What a lengthy one! This promises intense moisture in a light cream that also offers heightened cell renewal and gentle microdermabrasion to remove dead skin cells!

This item is LOVE! This really helped in keeping my face moisturized! Even when I had a breakout, it helped in clearing ASAP! Overall, I'm happy seeing the results of my skin! :)

This is the BOMB cosmetics shower gel. The one I got had a mix of scents I couldn't figure! But....it sure smelled soooooo nice! As the shower gel is olive oil based, you can be assured that your skin is well moisturized!

This is the Skin Pharmacy Silky Smooth Sunscreen. Ok I'll admit. I don't really use sunscreen. Why? Cause I hate how my skin feels icky/oily after applying them! But! This is really awesome! It almost dissolves into your skin.. So now you can apply sunscreen liberally without feeling like you are wearing any!

This is the Creed perfume! It's a light spring scent.. I felt that the top notes came off strong and by the time it came to the end notes, the scent came out quite light.

So the bonus item for this month! Loreal Paris Extraordinary Oil!
I was so excited to receive this! It was something I had been wanting to try! It claims to be a miracle oil that can be used to protect, nourish and shine touch up our hair without weighing our hair down! I couldn't wait to try it! I must say that this product really works! It made my hair look more manageable and smooth! What I really love is that, it does not leave a greasy feeling! Yes I think you can know by now how much I dislike greasy/oily creams!!

I got the veet hair removal cream which I never used. I find creams rather messy and I prefer waxing instead.

Home Spa for your brushes

Hygiene is  the first step to anything. We must have the discipline to do some minor cleansing of our brushes daily. The biggest discipline comes for once a week thorough cleaning!

Clean brushes help in preventing breakouts. however, some cleansers cause our brushes to go out of shape, drop its hair!

I read about this home spa from other blogs and i had to try it out! I am extremely pleased with the results.

What you need:

1. any baby shampoo 
2. any kind of olive oil

3. antiseptic hand soap 
4. a plate

Steps:

1. pour equal amt of baby shampoo and handsoap on your plate.
2. just pour a little olive oil on the side.
3. dip your brush in the baby shampoo, then into the hand soap.
4. dip just a small part of your brush into the olive oil.
5. take the brush and rub it against your palm.
6. rinse thoroughly.
7. repeat steps for all your brushes.
8. set the brushes to dry!

Why use these items?

Baby shampoo is not too harsh on our brushes. it helps in not spoiling the hairs of our brushes. Antiseptic handsoap is used to counter the absence of sanitization in shampoo. olive oil is used to condition the hairs of the brushes!
