my 2013 Favourites!

I cant believe how fast the year flew! So much memories built and many lessons learnt! This is also the year where I started my blog and IG. I hope to pick up momentum for my blog writing next year.

So what are your beauty resolutions for the coming year? Mine would have to be skincare and sticking to it!

So last post for 2013, my favourites in random order!

1. Benefit's Porefessional

I love love love this product! It helps to keep my makeup intact for many hours.  I use this after moisturiser and I am able to apply my makeup smoothly.


2. Benefit Rockateur Blush

 Looking for peachy shade of blush that gives you a glow? This might just be your answer. I like to use this as an highlight for my cheeks. And this blush blends really well for me.

3. Loreal Elseve Extraordinary Oil

 If you are a follower of my instagram and blog, you would know by now how much I love this. An oil that doesnt leave a greasy feel. It helps in taming your chemically treated hair!

4. Wet and wild lipsticks 

Highly pigmented shades for an affordable price! Whats there not to love? The lipsticks are able to stay on without smudging.

5. Garnier's Sakura White Skincare Range

This is one skincare that I went back to after it had finished. It helped in reducing my marks and even the redness. The facial wash would have to be my favourite. Tough on marks and gentle on skin! And this range is very affordable!

Oh So Sleek!

Hello everyone! Today I am going to blog about Sleek's Bad girl and Acid palettes.

I have heard about these palettes and I had to get them and try it!

As you can see from the colours, you can use this palette to create smoky eyes.

Just look at how pigmented they are! I had to use makeup remover to get it off.

from left to right: innocence, gullible, blade, gun metal, underground & noir

From left to right: intoxicated, envy, obnoxious,  abyss, twilight & rebel

The pigments of this palette are stronger than the rest.

let's look at the acid palette.

 I fell in love with the colours! Aren't they so pretty! But this palette doesn't come with names for the eyeshadows.

lets look at the swatches!

Honestly I was a little disappointed with its payoff. Especially when the bad girl palette was so pigmented.  But you can still use a primer to make the colours pop.

Real Techniques Core Collection and Eye Starter Set

Swatch: Wet and Wild lipsticks

Hello Everyone!

Today's post is just a swatch of these lipsticks I got.

Aren't they gorgeous? These are the 5 colours I got! So creamy and pigmented!

The names from left to right: Dont blink pink, think pink, pinkerbell, spotlight red and bare it all.

The lipsticks are quite easy to apply. You wont need to apply many coats.

L'Oréal Elseve Extraordinary Oil

This is one product I have to share with you babies.  As most of you may know,  L'Oréal has to be my favourite when it comes to haircare. I enjoy using their range best as I see results that I want.

Ok, so a brief introduction to my hair. It has gone through rebonding and colouring. When I first did it, my hair looked gorgeous. But over time, my hair started to become dry.

And then came this product in my bellabox. I fell in love with the results I got instantly.  It makes your hair shiny and smooth. Best part? No greasy feel on hair!

So I went to get the bottle asap!

Isnt the bottle pretty? Its made of glass! It looks like a bottle of liquid gold!

What I like is the pump of the bottle. Compared to pouring out, this prevents spilling.

There are 3 ways to using this oil.

1. Pre shampoo treatment. Use this to condition hair before shampooing.

2. use this as a finishing touch to the hairstyle you have created.

3. Apply to damp hair and blowdry or airdry your hair.


This hair product boasts of 5 in 1 miracle perfector.

1. Hair has a glowing shine.
2. Hair feels intensely nourished.
3. Hair flows with silky softness
4. Hair is sumptuously smooth.
5. Hair looks beautifully perfected.

All you need is about 2 pumps. But it is subjected to your hair length. Rub your palms together and then apply to hair.

September Bellabox!

Hello Everyone! Today I am going to be sharing with you about my sept Bellabox.

In September,  the box was in a light pink shade. Their theme?

Look at those goodies!

1. La Clinica Gly C Refine Micro Dermabrasion Facial Exfoliating Scrub

What a lengthy name this has! No more going for facials just for the Micro Dermabrasion! This scrub is your superb skincare remedy for a smoother and softer skin. Scrub your grub away to make way for a radiant complexion!

My thoughts: the beads in the scrub are really tiny and a lot! As I started scrubbing, I felt that it was a bit pain. Like a sharp tingling one. But after washing my face, I could feel that my skin was really smooth. But I couldn't help but wonder if it is spoiling the skin? 

2. Recoliv Beauty Collagen

Want good skin? You might wanna try collagen. This is an all- natural product; an unique blend of German Collagen, French olive,  and red grape extract. It is packed conveniently. Enhanced with potent antioxidants that will improve your skin's elasticity and reduce wrinkles. 

My thoughts: it has a bitter taste! Not something I want to get again!  And the colour is not so appealing.

3. Sugar and Butter lip polish  

Blended with shea butter and coconut oil, up the gorgeousness of your lips with this. Exfoliate and wipe away to reveal a set of yummy looking lips!

My thoughts: a good product to use weekly! Do apply lip balm after exfoliating!

4. Wish Formula JJOYY Bubble Peeling Pad

Created with an easy to hold handle, this patent obtained peeling pad contains natural AHA and extracts that helps to elimintae dead skin cells and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles to reveal a much healthier and luminous radiance.

My thoughts: I really like this one! Thanks to the handle,  its very convenient to hold and just rub away. You will see that your skin is smoother instantly! You don't have to put any soap. Its already mixed in the sponge!

5. Inido Cosmeceutical Renew cream

Allow your skin to be born again with this skin renewal formula. Suitable for all skin! This anti aging cream is designed to soften, gently exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin. 

My thoughts: this cream is to be used at night. I experienced a slight tingling sensation. This is apparently normal due to the presence of fruit acids. I have since passed the cream to my mom.
